Got a bunch of suggestions for the Lazy Boy. Thanks for the replies. May have to do the craigslist thing and see whats out there is the ever growing Big Ass city of Boise …….
Gaming chair in my den where the computer is. Gaming chairs are cheaper than computer chairs and really comfy. Basic recliner in the living room. Adirondack on the back deck.
Favorite is an old duct tape covered barstool in the shop where I sit and ponder my next move on a project, or ponder how I am going to fix what I just broke.
When I got married years ago it was time for my bachelor furniture to go. The first thing we got was matching Lazy Boy leather recliners. We sat in every chair in the store and it wasn't even close.......this one won hands down. You sit in it and it just about sucks you in with comfort. I'm not big on full reclining but I do like that it adjusts to me. I haven't used it as a full recliner ever. If I want to lay flat, it's probably time for bed. We've had these for 24 years now.

In 1971 Ekornes launched the first Stressless® recliner. It soon became known for its innovative functions, sublime comfort and Scandinavian look. We have not rested on our laurels and Stressless® is today among the best known furniture brands across the globe.

Hmm interesting. After my divorce I went with two massive leather reclining couches. Never even thought of a recliner but I’m happy with my lounging situation!
Personally I prefer cloth or fabric covering as opposed to leather, plastic, or vinyl covering. Other than that, no preference other than a recliner in front of the TV.
Generally I do too. But we tried both the leather and cloth versions in the model chairs we got, and it was night and day difference between the two for comfort......the leather was way more comfortable for whatever reason. I had leather in an F-350 once, and while it cleaned up much easier, it wasn't all that comfortable. But I love the cloth in my F-350 that I have now.
I custom ordered two leather couch's and an ottoman a few years ago that are super comfy and very high quality. I highly recommend Omnia if you're looking for leather. They are made in the USA. I see recliners on their webpage but have not experience with those.
I got a big leather couch. The leather is so thick you can’t even pinch it. I have never sat on it like your supposed to do. I lay on it. If I’m n the house I’m laying on the couch. It’s about 10-12 feet away from the tv and fireplace. In the winter it’s warmed by the fire making it a for sure nap upon laying down.
