Tikka t3x lite chassis: which KRG?

I've narrowed down chassis to KRG. I've seen a few posts here and elsewhere about the bravo upgrade, but haven't seen much for the xray.

Tikka is in 6.5CM

Does anyone have experience with the KRG xray for hunting? Will also see recreational shooting out to 800 yards, at least once a month, at most 2-3 times (and then probably under 500 yards).

Initially I was leaning towards the Bravo, but the grip on the xray seems better. I didn't see much of a weight difference, if any (their site).

Have used both extensively on T3 lites hunting. The Bravo is much better for general hunting use. The thumbhole and angle of the X-ray grip is compromised for manipulating the safety and bolt quickly.

thanks for your input. I'm surprised there is so little feedback/experience.

do you have any media content that might show the differences in action?

No. But it is very simple to envision- picture manipulating the safety and running the bolt while using a true pistol grip. Now, you can leave your thumb on the bolt side and not use the pistol grip, however the is a significant amount of control lost doing so and negates the reason for the grip in the first place.

Thanks. Bravo on the way now.

If it matters at this point, I ordered a KRG SOTIC years back. Awesome rifle, came with a W-3 stock. I replaced the back end of the stock with a Bravo because it is markedly superior for general purpose use in my opinion. There is just no good that I can find in having a metal beam running level from the action to the stock, nor a flat bottom.
