Never heard of Patriot Valley Arms before. When you say you got a great deal what does that mean. I priced out a barrel and it came out to almost $800. That's more than I want to put into this rifle.

Pretty hard to whoop ordering exactly what you want from PBB. Both of mine are hammers and they’re a very affordable barrel while saving you the cost of having a smith do the threading and chambering work.

I've got a Shilen 26" stainless, 1.1" bull barrel in 6mm GT on the way from Crown Ridge Barrel Works. Thanks for all the suggestions and help!
