No, I think that would be the norm for this barrel length

I get 3650 with 53 grain vmax in my 17” 22-250 with handloads.

Sorry, I have some reading comprehension issues and read the title as being a .223 Rem. That sounds right in line with my 55 VMAX load in the same rifle.
