What is the twist rate on the rifle? how slow of a twist rifle are you looking for?

1:8 on the Tikka. Something in the old standard 1:12 range, to shoot lighter (50gr ish) bullets.

I know you want a 1:12; but, I've got a 1:10, sporter, blued. Let me know if that interests you. And yes, it shoots the 55 into little bitty holes. Oh, I don't know about other knuckleheads; but, I view a trade in the same manner as I do a cash sale. Since I'm offering to "buy" with my rifle as payment, I would expect you to receive and approve of my "payment" before you ship.

How do you like that scope? I have a couple of the 5x25 versions with that reticle and really like them.

It's pretty awesome. The glass is very good, PA keeps everything in sharp focus and the hash marks line up nearly perfect for my load. Makes for accurate quick shots at different ranges. If you have time then adjusting the turrets is easy and accurate. A lot to like about Signature HD scopes.
