Tikka T3 Polymer Stock – Gap Normal?

I recently removed the stock from my Tikka T3 Lite to install the Spartan Gunsmith Adapter. When reinstalling the Tikka action/barrel back into the stock, I noticed a gap in which it looks like the action is sitting slightly forward in the polymer stock. Is this normal for a Tikka?

When resetting the action/barrel back into the stock, I made sure that the Recoil lug sat in the appropriate groove, that I bumped the buttstock against the ground while the action screws were finger tight to try to ensure the action was fully seated, that I torqued the action screws properly, and that the gas port was sitting in what appeared to be the correct position in relation to the top of the polymer stock. Pics attached.

Thanks for the help! I may just be paranoid…

You're probably not seated right on the recoil lug
I did try to be careful about ensuring the recoil lug slipped into the corresponding groove in the action assembly, and that it was seated to the rear. The action screws seem to pull the action forward slightly when tightening them.
