Gonna have to have one, who else is going down that road? Thinking SWFA 10X MQ on top. Centerfire’s are gonna get lonely this year.

I snagged one recently, put a 3-15 Swfa on it with plans to shoot some nrl22 this year. I’ve been shooting the heck out of it since I got it. Mine likes federal premium gmm very well and it’s easy to find at my local sportsman’s for $5/50 rds. I zeroed at 50 yds and it’ll put the whole 10 rd mag into one of those 3/4” target repair stickers at 50. I’m very happy with my purchase, super fun gun to shoot and the whole no recoil at all thing does keep a guy honest in my opinion. Let me know if you want to know anything specific.

What did you do for mounts? I’m thinking Sportsmatch if they make such a thing. Or maybe a 20 MOA rail.

I did mountain tactical 20 moa rail and warne mountain tech rings on mine.
I messaged with Form a bit when I was setting up and he brought up a good point, you end up using a bunch of up stretching out a 22lr so 20 or 30 moa rail is helpful.

I need one, but have too many gun projects in the works. I’ll just have to deal with my 77/22 for the time being with it’s 8 pound trigger pull.

T1x, swfa 10x, 20 moa rail all in a krg bravo would get a good workout from me. Maybe next year.

I picked one up last year. Put a DIP 20 moa rail and a Vortex Viper 4-16 on it. Also dropped it in a German Gun Stock to match my CTR. Love it. Shoots about MOA with SK rifle ammo. Have a set of small steel targets hanging on hooks from 50-115 in my front yard.

I don’t think you will regret it one bit.

I’ve got a chubby 16.5” 10/22 that’s a damn good shooter, but not that damn good. 200 yards is bit of a struggle. In all honesty though, I haven’t run any high end ammo thought it.

22 LR has about 20” drift (10mph) at 200 and is good practice IMHO...

I bought one this fall. Great cheap practice. Feels identical to my primary hunting rifle, trigger pull is identical. Typically has a 6-24x50 vortex on a 20 moa mountain tactical rail. My hunting rifle wears a 2-10 RS2 Maven. I decided to put that on a 20 moa rail as well so I can swap scopes easily. That way I can switch the rim fire to my hunting scope when the season gets close, or I can put the big scope on the center fire for long range pdogs. Love the T1x- shoots .3-.5 moa at 50 with SK match, just a touch bigger with cci sv.

I’ve got one in a KRG Bravo. Swfa 3-9 in Sportsmatch TO35C rings. It shoots SK Standard Plus and Federal GMM really well

Mix of a few different Federal choices, SK Match, SK Standard+

SK Standard+ 50y. Number is the order I fired them getting zeroed. All 10 round groups. Used the corners of the big diamond as my POA.

I put the timney seat kit in my 77/22 it helped. I wouldn’t mind having a t1x though.

Do it! You won't regret it...lotsa fun...and good practice for your centerfires. I have mine setup very similar to my CTR and use it in NRL-22 competition. I dropped mine into a KRG Bravo, topped it with a Vortex PST Gen 2 5-25x50mm, Buckeye Optics rings and DIP Products 25 MOA rail. I screwed on a Gentry Brake I had laying around and installed a Mountain Tactical trigger spring. Longest shot for me...connected at 390 yards on 6" steel. Very accurate at short range...pretty much shoots ragged holes at 50 yards with CCI Standard Velocity and SK Standard. I ran it stock for awhile and it was still pretty awesome!

One thing I will say is that I love the Sportsmatch rings on my T3X 223 and the T1X. But, like mentioned above, if you want to stretch it out a rail might be needed. I’ve taken mine as is out to about 350... but that eats up a lot of turns on the dial.

How did the install go? I was thinking of slapping a new spring in it and seeing how it goes. I’d also like to put it in a vertical grip stock, can’t stand shooting Sporter style stocks, especially putting a couple hundred rounds down range.

it was 4-5 years ago, I don’t remember it being difficult and I’m not a gun smith. I think I had to file it down a bit but nothing crazy.

exactly what I was thinking, got a lonely SHV 4-14 sitting in the safe and a Thunderbeast takedown 22 in jail that I’m hoping to free before the end of the month....

question for you T1x guys.. I'm setting one up for my son, and I have 3-9x33 scope for it. I just spoke with Talley and they said a low ring would be good for it. Is this the best height option for him being only 8yrs old? and will the low ring limit distance on the gun? I read in this post guys putting 20moa rails on them.
I want the gun to be able to go out to 100yrds-200yrds ideally. I guess I could go with medium rings for more distance and then build up his check rest? maybe thats not idea.. thoughts anyone?

did you end up doing this? Im swapping my LRHS to my main rifle, and the 10x swfa to the 22 im thinking....what rings did you use the Sportsmatch?

would the 10x be better on the 22 or the 6x.....mostly targets but maybe some grouse in there too....long range grouse hunting with the 22lr XD

I’m running a DIP 25 moa rail and LRTS 4-12 and I’ve got about 16mils to work with. Using blazer that gets me to about 375 yards. So I’d find a scope with lots of travel or a 30moa rail. Or both.
