I had a chance to shoot a friends suppressed .22LR with subsonic ammo last year and I’ve wanted one of my own ever since. It had to wait a bit but I finally got it all together and man if it isn’t the most fun rifle I’ve ever shot. It’s the same feeling I had going from a .270 down to a suppressed .233 except this one legitimately feels like cheating every time I shoot it.

I’ve acquired a pile of .22LR ammo through the years and this T1x shoots nearly all of it to 1”, ten-shot groups at 50 yards. The shots circled were sighting shots to get on paper or check POI when I switched ammo to be sure I was on paper. I have it zeroed for the subsonic ammo and the if I come down 1 mil, it’s roughly zeroed for multiple types of standard velocity ammo.

This is the gun I wish I’d had as a child. It’s great practice to actually rack the bolt rather than just pulling the trigger repeatedly as I did on my childhood semi-auto. Complete with a SWFA 6x, it even allows me to practice dialing and holding in the reticle.

If you’ve ever pondered buying one, just do it. Be sure to add a rimfire suppressor as well, that’s the real game changer. I went with an OCL titanium and I’ve really enjoyed it so far.
