I'm firmly of the belief that most medium bore cartridges don't benefit from anything past the second port on a break. Any gas that is going to expel from the side has already done that and the front ports provide incredibly minimal additional recoil reduction. I also wanted this rifle to be very compact and light as I could make it.What’s that accomplishing for you? YesThat weight is just the rifle, correct?
That gun has the 22 inch barrel mine had the 24.5. thanks though.I had one at one point. I’ll look and see if I ever weighed it and wrote it down. I do know this:
T3X Superlite 243 Win weighs 6lb 1.6oz
Once it was bored to .338 it weighs 5lb 14oz.
That’s with a vertical grip and includes the mag.
Thank you!T3x Superlite 6.5CM w/ 24” barrel. It’s been pretty heavily modified since.
