Tikka Lead Times

I ordered a tikka .223 through my local sporting goods store on December 26th and they said the supplier still has not shipped it yet. I got the price match from eurooptic and euro had them in stock but I traded in a rifle at my local store to get store credit and make it easier. Is anyone else having the same problems with it taking forever for a store to get a gun in?

I’ve done this x3 with my local GS and tikkas, 1 came from Eurooptic. No issues.

Look for the .223 lefty thread. Rumor has it Tikka sold all inventory and is currently retooling to provide threaded barrels going forward. They are currently awaiting materials. Maybe yours was caught up in the supply chain?

Well it’s interesting because euro optic still shows in stock for .223 but it seems the supplier for my local store is having a hard time getting one in in a timely fashion

Depends on the supplier your shop uses. There’s plenty in stock online. They seem to get imported in big batches.
