I got my son a Tikka T3x 6.5 Creedmoor. He’s 15 and we are big Tennessee Vols fans so I wanted to customize his rifle and got the orange vertical grip and fore end.

I’ve used the vertical grip before and it’s great. Anyone put the fore end on their Tikka? Seems it would be nice support resting on a box blind window since it’s a flat, wider, beaver tail.

I know a guy who had an Iowa Hawkeyes themed rifle. It was absolutely horrible to look at.

My only advice for your idea is to not do it.

The varmint comes with the forend
It works well for what you describe
You could do cheekpiece, grip, magazine and forend all in blaze
