Got tired of sling studs catching on things and the fiddly swivel attachments, so it was time to install flush cups on a friend's TX3. Front QD is simple thanks to SRS pic/arca rail using factory threaded mounting points, but the balance is a little biased towards the rifle butt, so it may be worthwhile to move the rail forwards using a drilled hole and T-nut backer.
Butt stock used a Grovetec GTHM198 hollow stock insert. Simply pull the recoil pad, spacer, and foam insert, mark desired location, drill 9/16" hole, and install the insert. I tapped the hole because why not, and used a large stainless washer inside the stock for extra strength, plus a liberal dose of vibra-tite threadlocker.
Location for the butt QD is intended to rotate the rifle scope tight to the users body when the rifle is shoulder or cross-body carried. Seems to work while walking around the house.
