Primary rifle is a T3x 300WM. As upgrades come in, parts are accumulating and I'd like to put them on a backup rifle.

My first thought is to get a 308win or 6.5 cm to eventually build an 8.6 blk. What else should I consider?

I'd also like the possibility to do something like a 375HH, straight wall, 338 LM, or even a custom muzzle loader. if they can fit.

What are you guys seeing for builds off the Tikka action? I realize the action is limited but for this I'm willing to modify the action down the road.

Mostly I'm looking for which bolt is going to be the most versatile.

Skip the 375 H&H and 338 LM in a Tikka and go straight to a 375 CheyTac. Then show the 223 fanboys what a real cartridge will do. 😀
