Tikka 7mm-08 with Nightforce - Ring choice?

Just picked up a compact 7mm-08 for my son to start shooting. I plan to use it as well but was planning on getting the NXS 2.5-10. Most of our hunting is fairly open country and i'd like to learn more on dialing for hunting and for fun. What rings/base would you recommend for this combo? Thanks in advance. Hoping my son can get his first deer or pig this year.

The Unknown Munitions rings are very nice and direct mount. No need for a separate rail.
