I built this rifle chasing a short barreled varmint truck gun idea. Just a bit too much recoil for my liking. I will be copying the same exact build in a 223 rem. This rifle shoots very well with the eldm and eldx bullets. I have not tried any other brand of bullets. Nightforce scope is well used with a few dings and marks. The McMillan stock has a couple buff marks from riding in the truck.
This rifle costed roughly $4600 in parts and gunsmithing. Looking to get $3750.
