I bought this on here a while back and it wasn't in as good of shape as I hoped which is why I'm selling it for less than I paid for it. It is functional but is not as nice as a new one. It is painted black. I don't know what they used (plasti-dip maybe?) but it actually looks decent and doesn't rub or scratch off easily.
The good:
-holds arrows securely
-mounts securely to the bow
-it has the newer rubber insert for the tips
The bad:
-the foam behind the tip insert leaves residue on field points. i never jam my broadheads up in there so it probably wouldn't affect them. in any case, the rubber insert can be removed and the foam can be replaced with any type of foam
-the detach lever is an older style that does not easily lock and unlock. you can see in the pics where it is metal on metal and has worn the paint of the lever. someone more mechanically inclined than myself may be able to make it work better.
