325$
Just got back from the pawn shop — they said they could sell this for $350… which means they’d give me like $250. So here we are. Skip the middleman and get a deal.
This thing deserves to hunt again. its got a few scratches on the barrel because well it hunted with if for a few year and like actually used it. I got now have a Seekins precision 28 Nosler so this is just TOO similar.
It’s a Thompson Center Venture II bolt-action in 7mm Rem Mag.
These were going for $700 at Cabela’s $300 seems more than fair.
Extra stuff

- Has Weather Shield coating, which honestly works better than any blued finish I’ve owned.
- Synthetic stock with grip panels that actually work.
- Short bolt throw (~55°) and it cycles smoother than both Tikka and Seekins. Not kidding.
- Around 100 rounds down the tube, always shot to my standards.
- With Federal Terminal Ascent, I consistently got sub-MOA 3-shot groups. I wasn’t deep into load dev back then, so no nerdy stats. This was before i knew 3 round groups were garbage ok, have some grace for me! — but it’s a shooter.
