Looks like I'll be ordering a few heads to test out just because of this article. Love giving my money to a company that puts ethics above sales. Annhialator makes a good broadhead, but after seeing their Instagram killshot reel a few days ago, I can't in good faith support a company showing hunting in a negative light to those on the outside.

"As a sidebar, for those who dream of being on brand X “pro-staff”, “pro” is not short for professional it’s an abbreviation for promotional"

That's one of the most spot on things I've heard in a while.
I laugh about at all the "pros" out there. Yeah, I have a guide's license and I get my discount too.
Whoopty-doo. Just more advertising

I think I’ll order some heads too. I loved my Day Six arrows a couple of years ago, just too heavy for my setup. He’s a dang good guy was great to work with!!

Its ballsy and right for them to proclaim what they beleive in. Especially when their beliefs align with their industry a d speaks to their customers. Well said and kudos to Daysix.

Maybe someday I'll need some of their components.

I had no idea it meant "promotional."

Good on them for recognizing what’s going on. I’m assuming they have pulled back on some of the “industry” relationships they had. Truly makes me want to buy some broadheads from them

This is a necessary statement. Good for them.

It's important to remember that many hunting brands were started by people who love hunting and wanted to provide a product. As some of those brands grow they bring on leadership that doesn't hunt or hunts just enough to give them a veneer of credibility with the customer. The second kind of leader will sell us all down the river for profitability.

It is important to let your dollars do the talking when making a decision on who to support. Every dollar you spend can be used against you or used in your favor.

I saw this yesterday in their regular email. Super respectable and great statement. I've been shooting their arrows for a bit over a year and have only good things to say about them. When I switched I emailed them with some questions and he got back with me right away with solid information. Great guy to work with.

I thought about posting this- before I had seen yours. I couldn't agree more with him. I wanna buy something from him!
This has been something that has really turned me off to a lot of influencers. Its a very fine line. I know several of these guys (influencers) are just trying to get people into the outdoors and out of the house which leads to sales. I tried to listen to Gritty (Brian Call) the other day, we were on a long trip and I was out of podcasts! I had him on for 20 minutes and had to turn it off- to embarrassing with my wife in the car after 4 mentions of the code "Gritty" to x% off some products he's pumping. Im sure he mentioned it 20-30 more times as there was over an hour left. He's not the worst- I just expect more I guess. They are all getting ridiculous.
Self promotion and Instagram this and that... Its really hurting the hunters and outdoors people who are trying to enjoy the outdoors not plunder it for profit and bloodsport. I am definitely not saying B Call is in any way in it for bloodsport- at least he promotes the meat usage and benfits of harvest.

Landed on their broadheads 3 seasons back. Have had great luck. This kind of statement will keep a feller loyal, IMO.
