In case anyone is curious what’s cheaper, building a custom or buying/upgrading a factory rifle…well it’s definitely not cheaper to buy a factory rifle, but you gain a lot of experience and you get to try different stuff and see what works for you all while shooting. Note: I did not plan on doing all of this when I bought the rifle.

Burris XTR II 5-25
Harris 9-13” bipod
Looking at maybe a MDT Backcoutry or Mountain bipod, but we’ll see I like the Harris. I’m planning to have the barrel cut to 18” and threaded for a two port break.
