You cant find an action? Gunbroker should have some. If you had some money, I could really hook you up with some real nice stuff......stuff you dont find just anywhere. I understand everyone has a gun budget...except me.

They're not collectable. It's just the insane gun prices of the last year and a half. If you can wait, the people that are buying now will be selling them at a 50% loss in another year or two.
I mean they still make them. And MSRP is less than what the used ones go for on gunbroker. You just have to wait for one to be in stock.

Does not mean there will not be a buyer but as of this time it looks like there is nobody lined up to buy the brand. I’m hopeful someone will pull through though.

Yeah, the T/C platform just failed to make money as demand has dropped a lot in recent years so its become a White Elephant. Thats why they started making bolt action rifles but that didnt pan out so well either. Low profit margins equals low interest in keeping the brand alive. Im sure it will bounce around but it will never be what it once was and new Encore/Contender actions will just be very hard to get with used ones bringing a premium. Its just the way business works........sort of the same as Dan Wesson.......the 1911 platform save that company as it couldnt survive with revolvers. Competition sorts out the winners and losers.
