I have an oryx euro and the horns are a sun faded drab brown. I'm wondering what product I could spray on the horns to blacken and gloss them up? I'm thinking something similar to what taxidermists use on antelope horns. I've also heard of spraying WD40 on horns as a way to preserve them. Is there any merit to ro this? I have some sheep and antelope that are getting pretty dry.

I use Skidmore's Liquid beeswax wood finish on our antlers and horns. Warm it up and apply sparingly. Wipe off excess and allow it a day or so to soak in then wipe again.

I only have one horny euro and i put some mop and glo on it and it looks great...not a super unnatural shine.

I would be concerned about something like WD40 breaking down something organic

I’ve used good old 10w-30 on a rag and wiped down my antelope horns. Gives them a nice shine

Mop and glow for me as well, inside the horn and out. Makes them smell nice too.
