Tall Tent Pole

I'm building a tent and have decided to have a peak height of 8.5'. I see most of you recommend the REI pole but that only goes to 8'. Does any one have any recommendations for an adjustable taller pole?

Bear Paw Wilderness Designs will build you an aluminum pole to whatever length you specify. Ruta Locura wil build you a carbon pole to whatever length you specify. Both build adjustable poles.
