Has anyone hunted with Clay Charlton of Take'em Outfitters in Cold Lake, Alberta or Dominic Jackson of Alberta Dark Horn Outfitters in Goodfish Lake? Looking at a November whitetail hunt.

You will be very let down if you hunt with takem. Website looks good but many dissatisfied clients

Look into Alberta Wilderness Guide Service out of Edmonton. Website is ihuntalberta.com. I've hunted with them and quite a few of my friends have also. Great group of people and they do a great job. The deer in my avatar is the one I shot up there.

I've hunted with Dom in Alberta. Actually booked with Rob but they are partners. Near as I can tell Whatever Rob sells goes under the Timberking Name and Doms bookings are under Darkhorn. They have a client taking a picture with a giant every year. This is the only guided deer hunt I've ever been on and at that time the most expensive fair chase Whitetail hunt on Earth.

How was your experience with Dom and Dark Horn? How was the hunting?

I had Dom as a sheep and moose guide in the Yukon. Everything positive with him on that hunt.
