Yes. Just have to check card like normal camera. They try to connect for about 5 min or so then give up and start working without it.

Yes they do. I have one and works great with or without the subscription.

Let me ask y'all this, I heard that the reveal 3.0 although can work just like regular camera, it will continue to look for network and eat up your batteries super fast. Any truth to that?

Mine ate my batteries up and didn't take any photos… put them back on cell and am getting piles of pictures taken. Even checked the SD a month after no cell.
