Anyone use this scope and can speak to its quality? Is it on par with the 3-9 and fixed powers? It'll be going on top of a .450 bushmaster.
What I noticed is on the SWFA web site some scopes have OK for .50 cal., some don’t. I suspect that offers some info on their ability to take a lump or two. Be curious to see if that is so, once Form weighs in.I thought that most of the fixed powers and at least the 3-9x of the SWFA scopes are supposed to be able to take some lumps/hard use and still hold zero and track correctly?
Is the 1-4x24 just the weak link in the line or are there other exceptions?

What about Trijicon 1-4x24?I honestly just want something that will hold zero. I don't plan on dialing with a .450 bushmaster in the eastern straight walled cartridge states where it'll be used. The 6X is a little much for me and the 3-9 has been out of stock forever. Don't really want to drop the coin on an SHV to put on a Ruger American rifle either but if anyone knows of an alternative I'm all ears.
Primary Arms has the Credo 3-9X40 green duplex reticle on sale and if you're looking at other reticles, check out gunzonedeals.com. Gun Zone Deals isn't free shipping but no tax so it's a better deal depending what reticle you like.I'm not opposed to spending more on glass than the gun but I can't bring myself to spend 11-1200 for a trijicon to put on top of a $400 Ruger. I'll prob just keep an eye on the classifieds for a 3-9 SS.
