I have 3 scopes and a pair of binoculars for sale. FIrst one to post "I will take it" for a specific item will trump PMs. These are posted in other forums as well. If a particular item is claimed in multiple sites then date/time stamp will be used to determine the buyer.

You ever lap scope rings? Seems I don’t have issues with marks like that since I have started doing so.

A couple of these scopes came with rifles I recently have purchased so I couldn't say whether the rings were lapped or not.

To answer your question, I do lap some rings but not all. I prefer using Talley rings and the manufacturer does not recommend lapping any of their mounts.
