Non hd but very nice my brother has hd we have compared many times biggest difference we have found is the hd stamp on his

I believe many, if not most people wouldn't be able to see a difference. I couldn't either. Even the reps say there is at best a 3% optical performance upgrade. Well, just like a 3% raise,,,it's pretty much Ho-Hum. This spotter is a good buy. You will pay much more than 3% extra for the HD model.
