These are new. I bought them for the cabin, to watch bears, expecting to sell my ZEISS 10X40B binoculars. However no one wants my Zeiss 10X40B, so I'll keep them and sell the 15X56 SWAROVSKI binoculars.

I have to ask because it is driving me crazy. What does NEU stand for? I see it in a lot of ads and have never been able to figure out what it's supposed to stand for. Kind of like a lot of license plates I see.

As far as I understand it NEU is german for new- basically they are upgraded SLC's with the dark green armor, Swaroclean coatings and better Ergonomics.

There's a lot of German's selling on Ebay then because I see it all the time, and have never understood what they're trying to say.

Well I can tell you that I bought these same bino's from cameraland brand new for 1599. I recently sold them (a year old) with one minor blemish for 1300. Hope that helps. The new HD version sell for much more.

If they are in the condition you say, I would say $1600.00 could be had. Range would be $1400.00-$1650.00

Thanks for the information. Price reduced to $1,699.00 (They really have only been out of the box 10 or 15 minutes).

For my needs, my preference is to sell the 10X40 B ZEISS.........and keep these for the cabin.
