Swarovski Z8i 1-8x LPVO, with the BRT reticle, Swaro's dual-illumination switch, the upgrade to their BTF ballistic turret, mounted in a Bobro quick-detach single-lever mount.
This is just about the finest glass you'll ever find in an LPVO, and it's excellent in low light. The magnification ring feels like it's on roller bearings when you move the power up or down. The illumination switch is particularly useful - left for low-light, right for daylight bright, center for off. You can adjust either of those settings with buttons, leaving the switch pre-set for the brightness on each - it's far faster than other brightness designs. The BRT reticle is their ballistic reticle - simple but useful if you put the time in with whatever load you're shooting. The BTF ballistic turret is an add-on that's almost brand-new, very simple to set up and adjust, and very effective.
I've had this on a 16" AR and recently upgraded to a scope that's a bit better for medium and long ranges, so this LPVO's moving on to a good home. Unlike just about every other LPVO I've ever gotten behind, the Swarovski is excellent at it's highest power, at 8x. But it just isn't the mag range I need. It's in the Bobro mount, which is just about the best QD system out there, super solid, and both rugged and durable. The scope was properly bedded into the mount with a lightweight green loctite bedding compound, so they go together. Absolutely repeats zero without a hiccup.
I'm the second owner of this scope, there are a couple of small dings (one on tube, one on objective rim, in photos), one notable bit of rub-wear from a throw-lever the prior owner installed on it, and some slight marring/deformation of a little of the rubber on the magnification ring from that throw lever. Other than a couple of tiny dings and the minor wear from the throw-lever, the scope is in excellent condition. Glass is pristine.
New, this is a $3000 scope. The BTF turret is about $325, and the Bobro mount is about $250.
