Well for those in the know. Thoughts on this new eyepiece. Really interesting concept.

I had heard about it prior to today but hadn't seen pictures. I already have an STX and would love to try it but its a little out of my price range at the moment. I love the idea over the Kowas to save some weight and size. One buddy threw the idea of selling his 15x56 SLCs and replacing them with the BTX eyepiece, which I thought was an interesting idea.

I was thinking that it's a little heavy to carry it but if you did that and got rid of your bigger binos than it would be interesting to consider. I would like to see one in person.

This was my thought. It makes the idea of carrying a 95 objective more palatable
