Does anyone have experience with these binoculars?

im a southeastern deer and turkey hunter. I don’t spend a ton of time behind glass but I appreciate nice glass

I’m mostly wondering how much low light performance I would be giving up with these little swaros vs an 8x42 swaro

I really think I would like the compact size and light weight

also they are much more affordable than the “full size Alphas”

I have some I use to spot critters out my window. Very nice glass for the price. I don't think you'll be giving up much compared to 42mm lens.

I have 10x42 SLC and 8x30 cl companions, I really couldn’t tell a huge difference. I would still have the 8x30 if they took a stud. I thought they were great,

If hunting really low light your giving up about %25 of your brightness. Will only be really noticeable when it’s dark enough for your eyes to dilate tho.

The 8x42 is about twice as bright as the 8x30 if your pupil is dilated to 5.25 mm or more. That is pretty dim light though, and the brightness will be the same between the two if your pupil is <3.75mm
