I am seeing alot of Swaro 10 x 42 el range bino's for sale. Is there a issue with them? Seems like the last couple of weeks I've about 10 or more for sale on different forums. Some reconditioned others just normal . I was thinking of getting a pair but unsure now?

My guess would be that people are upgrading to NL Pures.

People who buy Swarovski do so because they can afford it and want the best of the best. The NL Pures currently represent that top tier, so I would guess people are selling their "older" Swaro's to get the current top of the line.

The EL Range is on its 3rd iteration and they're all called "EL Range 10x42s".

-Original 2011-2015 (PreSwarovision)
-Field Pro 2015-2020 (PreSwarovision, minor, mostly cosmetic changes to the unit)
-Tracking Assist 2021-Present (Swarovision, blue tooth ballistics onboard, better laser)

It would seem unusual for there to be refurbs of the TAs. Looks like you're seeing people moving on from a product that's been around between 0-11 years.

Makes sense I guess, I do have experience in foul weather. Ranging wasn't good at all. Light drizzle and fog .
