About half of the big companies have ripped off another company. If it's such a big deal to you @NevadaZielmeister post that info up?

I have both DM and QD from Thunder Beast. @Tanya Avery likes to shoot with a can while hunting and I don't. SO we have a QD on that rifle. One thing is for sure, cans are cool and rarely can you have just one.

Another vote for Ultra 7.

I have an Ultra 7 and 9 with CB mounts. I also tested an Ultra 5 head to head. Ultra 5 was too loud for no plugs on large calibers and the additional suppression of the Ultra 9 does not make up the for extra 2 inches hiking.

The Ultra 7 gets used on three hunting rigs with 1/2, 9/16, and 5/8 threads. No way I would go direct thread, although last I knew the DT version was still just a CB mount held in place with red loctite.

I believe you're right. The CB mount is just the DT version with the CB mount stuck in there.

I have mine on rifles with 1/2, 9/16, and 5/8 thread too. But $27 bushings are a easier to come by for me. I've heard the horror of how bushings don't work or can't work or aren't accurate....have yet to see it be an issue in person even at distance. I'm sure others will chime in with horror stories, I'm simply sharing my experience.
Definitely a personal experience thing. I had an adapter yield a tiny amount (not visible) after a few dozen rounds years ago. Result was a baffel strike and lots of down time right before hunting season.

The direct thread Ultra 7 does not have a CB stuck in it. They do use an insert to easily convert DM to CB.
That makes me wonder about a shop that sold my friend a DT version. I helped him "Convert“ it later. All we did was heat it and use a spanner, out came a CB mount. I never looked into what it was supposed to be.

I talked to Ray about it the other day. The DT is a single chamber brake, the CB is a double. The DT is .1oz lighter.

Have you checked out the Elite Iron Bravo 1 suppressor? One of my local gun shops sells those and they also sell the thunderbeast ultra 7 and ultra 9.

Update: After a little more shooting I went with the Half-Nelson, due to POI shift. On all other criteria it was a wash, but my gun just liked the Q the best. Now we wait!
