I’m thinking about getting a super tarp and stove and wanted to hear what others experiences are with the supertarp. Sounds like an extremely versatile set up. What input do you supertarp owners have? When is the stove worth having? Pros and cons? Let me know!

Same but not the same I have the paratarp and love it. Condensation can be a problem if you don't ventilate it though. I do not run a stove as there isn't quite enough space to justify but it would help knock down the condensation in the mornings and at nights while its running.

What I love the most about the tarp style shelters is they are versatile. I often take mine along if I know weather is coming in as it is nice to glass under. Also makes for a light shelter in case I need to spend the night and wasn't planning on it.

I haven't slept in a supertarp but for sleeping and gear there isn't going to be a lot room for two people but solo it will be very roomy.

Hope that helps

Stove not worth it, simply to small both small stove and area in the supertarp to be beneficial…..supertarp nice little cocoon setup in and versatile as tarp or tent…for early season and one only in country where you will dont tend to see a lot of rain or snow you will enjoy….if really like idea of stove and it’s advantages and or need room for two and in a lot of inclement weather would look for better options..I ran it for two years then moved on to other options where the stove was beneficial and gave me room to spread out and dry things….it is very well built just limited and tiny🤙

2nd vote for too small for a stove. Also not a 3 season shelter...woke up to the roof sitting on my bag in a Nov snow. Would not trust it to keep me safe past Sept. Summer with no door and Sept (dept on altitude) with an annex, it's perfect for 1 plus gear.

I used one for about 10 years. The only way I liked to use it was no stove and no annex. And I always pitch it with the entry end a few inches off the ground
