I'm looking to get a new warm weather backpacking pad.
For cool to cold weather, I have an Exped downmat XP9. It's very warm, albeit heavy and sometimes too warm, though I can adjust with peeling back my bag a little. But I love the thickness and the comfort and quality. Because of that comfort and quality, I'm leaning to another Exped, and thinking about the Exped Ultra 3R or 1R for warm weather. Anyone out there with this pad willing to comment about it good or bad?
Also open to hearing about any other warm weather recommendations. Thanks
*Edit to add, I'm 6'2" and 230, and I sleep from back to side to back again.
