suggestions needed

Hey guys. gonna be doing a first elk trip tp colorado this fall sept 14 thill the last day. gonna be back packing with a few buddies i served with. we have been training since march for this and have done our due diligence on everything. we are gonna be taking a scouting trip in early august after we buy our over the counter tags. my questions for the masses out there is i can not decide what unit to go too. i have settle on three. 421 and 42 along their border around battlement mesa, unit 43 north of capitol peak snow mass elk mountains area. and also units 26 25 and 34. i wanna be able to stay mobile and don't mind doing a lot of walking neither do the guys I'm going with we have all done our far share in the military. but any insight or tips i don't need special spots or anything like that. but just a general hey check out here or concentrate there. we are all trad archers and all first time elk so we just want to see elk and maybe get a shot something. we are happy with anything that has meat. thanks guys and heres to the upcoming season. good luck,
