String stop setting and tuning?

First year with a compound bow. I’ve been doing my pre-season shakedown and realized the set screw on my stringstop backed out.

What exactly am I looking for when I reset it? should it be contacting the string at rest?

Bow is a Bowtech RealmX.

Loosen all the set screws and tip the bow string down so the stop just rests on the string. Tighten the set screws up and you should be good. There can also be about a 1/32 to 1/16 inch of a gap between the stop and the string.

A small gap between the string and stop. The gap should only be about the width of a credit card.
