Strike Plate and Arrow Rest

Anybody, besides me, ever consider (or use) stealth strips for a strike plate and arrow rest? The thickness seems to be real similar to seal skin, and it’s slick and durable. I haven’t tried it yet, but my longbow’s gonna need a new strike plate soon.

When whatever rest is worn out on my bows. The rest gets replaced with seal skin.

Yeah, in that boat too, except for my Toelke's, then I use beaver tail, beaver tail wears like iron!

I'd think that stuff would wear down pretty quickly. I use a thick piece of leather on the shelf and sticky velcro on the side plate. That combo seems to last forever for me.

I've had a these on this shelf for years. And still no need to be replaced.
