Storing stabilizer in SKB hard case?

I have an SKB hard bow case and just started using Bee Stinger stabilizers with a QD. I do not know what to do with the removed stabilizer. I do not really want to remove it from the case for fear of forgetting it. I absolutely do not want it rattling around to damage my bow or sight. What do you guys do? Do you have pics?

What/how is the interior of your case set up? The interior is going to dictate/limit your options. Got any pics?

I run an 8" Bee Stinger on a QD and I simply cut out a chunk of foam next to my bow to store it.

I mounted a pistol rug inside my case, here I put all my loose parts and bowmaster press

Here's a couple thoughts:

1) You could use a folding stabilizer mount similar to the one below

http://www.lancasterarchery.com/loc-outdoorz-mat-loc-1-quick-disconnect-black.html

2) You could attach a velcro strap to the inside of the case to secure the stab

3) If there is enough length in your current velcro straps, you could strap the stab and the bow down with the same strap. Essentially, you would lay the stab along the limb or grip and secure them together (and to the case). You would probably want to use a sock as suggested above (or other protective material) to protect the stab/bow. I suppose you could also use a separate velcro strap to secure the stab to somewhere else on the bow.

4) You could strip out the interior and replace it with standard or pluck out foam but that can be pricey. If you go this route and want an idea of how it looks, let me know and I will post a pic of how I cut out my foam.

Good luck.

I'll send a picture tonight but I just cut a opening in the foam and press it in there. Flown many times with it and it works perfectly.

Promo, I can not see your attachments. I do not think the QD that pivots will work because the stab will hit the sight. I might attach it with some velcro to the velcro in the case. Thanks.

I fixed the attachments, I really like this setup it costs about $20 and gives me a good place to keep all my spare parts and release
