Does anyone have any feedback good or bad on this pack? I am searching for a good day-pack that can hold all my gear but doesn't have to go on a frame. I was about to pull the trigger on a badlands 2200, but might be willing to spend a little more money for quality on a bag like this.

Everyone who has one seems to love them. I am interested as well. The SG site does a poor job of detailed pictures and more Info

I picked up the Avail when they came out last year, and so far I really like this pack. It has replaced my Badlands Superday. Used it last year as a daypack for mule deer hunting in SD, and also for TN whitetails. It's comfortable and simple, yet has plenty of interior pockets for organization. I wasn't sure I would use the exterior load panel, but found it to be pretty handy for carrying a puffy, etc. Might be nice if it was detachable. Also, wouldn't mind if the side pocket was maybe an inch deeper, but seemed to do fine securing the feet of my tripod. I also carry a bipod for shooting, so might be nice if the other side had a pocket too. Overall this is the best daypack I have owned so far.

I haven't used mine a ton yet but really like it so far. I called just as they were leaving to go to the sheep show. Pete was still extremely helpful to me. I had to wait until they returned before they could ship, but their shipping rates were very reasonable and I got it in 2 days via Priority Mail.

I have been considering this pack for a day hunt pack so that I don't have to be swapping packs/frame very often. I have a few assault packs that I have been using in such a fashion for the past few years so I am not sure it's worth the investment otherwise I would have already pulled the trigger on it.

I have an Avail 2200 and really like it. I have not used it for much technical stuff, but.... Riding the fatbike, spending a weekend at the Ski Resort, and general run around its been pretty handy. When I upgrade my frame I will have my Krux frame that I can attach it to if I need to haul a load. Its a great simple pack, but if you want a load hauler the Exo K2000 is pretty nice as well. I like having both, each has their use.

Got one this winter and love it. Light, simple layout, great access, very comfortable. Perfect package for a small pack IMO.
