So just because I was curious: yes, you can put a large Alice bag on an Stone Glacier frame. And it works freaking awesome, with zero sewing or custom work needed.
You need a few misc buckles and tri-glides to make the load lifters, but it works. 6.37lbs total weight. Alice bag weighs 2.90lbs. 5900 sky, with no lid, is 1.94lbs, for reference.
