So in Amazon prime day, My wife ordered us a steripen. I forgot to tell her we wanted the classic and we got the adventurer instead.
Should we return It? Pros and cons of the adventurer vs the classic?

Have the adventurer and it has been great for me. No experience with the Classic though. The only downside I've found so far is the CR123 batteries aren't the cheapest. I've read that in general people have had more problems with the adventurer than the Classic model, but I haven't run into any issues yet. Also, a shout out to steripens customer service. I lost the cover for mine and they sent out a new one the day I called, no charge and no questions asked.

I have only used my classic.

I love that it will work with narrow-neck bottles like a soda or smartwater bottle. It doesn't look like the Adventurer would work that way. That would annoy me because wide mouth bottles are way heavier. I also prefer the option of AAs.

Agreed, downside to the adventurer is that it needs to be used on wide mouth bottles and it used the CR123 batteries. Other than that it has worked great so far and I'm well into the second season of using it.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Didn't even realize it used different batteries.. that won't be a problem, as I get free batteries from work. I bought this to use specific for a algene so I could see how it being bigger would be a problem. Worst case scenario, I use it this year and buy the classic for next yr.
