Step function improvements

It’s been two seasons since I backpack hunted, and life has been insanely busy. Are there any radical improvements in water filtration or other backpack hunting gear I’ve somehow missed? I’ve got a pretty dialed system, but there are always pain points.

If you were dialed 2 years ago id say your still good to go. I like new gear as much as the next guy but most of the "upgrades" really are not necessary.
