hey all, was just wondering how many oz. some of you run out front. total stabilizer weight

No worries, some guys use stabs on their trad rigs too, but I'm assuming you meant for your compound.

When I shot compounds, I used stabilizers for two things, for balance and to steady my pin. Because I always hunted with a bow quiver, I wanted my bow balanced according to my sight bubble at full draw (with 2nd/3rd axis set). To do this I used a very short side bar with enough weight to offset the quiver. To steady my pin, I would draw back and push/pull into my shot. If my bubble was "dancing", I added more weight. If my pin got "stuck" below my intended target and it took to much effort to elevate my pin, I would drop in weight (my pin starts a little low and as I push/pull, I elevate my pin up to the target with my hips.)

This worked for me with my hunting rigs.
