Spring Bear - Ontario, Canada

Currently packing for my first bear hunt. Heading up to northern Ontario on 5/7, season opens 5/15 and goes through 6/15. I dont plan on coming home until Im successful or season ends. As a long time midwest whitetail hunter and tips or tricks?
