I am Looking for a leupold sx2 spotting scope.
Will entertain other brands if price is right.

Budget is on the low-end.

Have you considered renting a better optic over buying that scope?

Why rent something when I can put my money towards actually owning something.

I would keep saving. Bottom end spotter is not worth the investment. You won’t use it because you’ll not like looking out if it. Been there learned that lesson.

I’ve used an SX-2 before and wouldn’t recommend buying one. It’s not a great or even good spotter. You’d be much better with a set of quality binos than a spotter like that.

I get military discount on Leupold and still opted to save for used alpha glass.

The below responses are why I ask. That spotter leaves a lot to be desired. You’ll want something better and then end up losing out on the back end. Renting at least gives you better glass for when you’re out if you need it this season and then you’ll see a difference of the quality.

Or save the bucks and get something better down the line.
