Spell Checker

I downloaded the spell checker that said was needed to check before submitting a post. First off I lost the whole message I was going to post. Now when I came back on my normal home page (Google) was gone and was replaced by a search engine page called Blekko. Is this something that can be fixed or is just with my computer?

i have had good luck with the checker / but i still can not spell

My computer genius son got me back to my normal home page but later I logged in using firefox and have the same situation there.
