Speedy Stitcher

I've got some boots with the fabric eyelets coming loose. My first thought was to glue it all together and see how it holds. But then someone suggested I stitch it together. I researched a bit and found out about the Speedy Stitcher. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have a few. One on the boat, travel trailer and in the junk drawer. They are great.
