This is a Southfort Laboratories carbon fiber stock inlet for a Remington 700 long action and a Proof Research Sendero Lite barrel. This model would make an excellent lightweight hunting stock. It was manufactured in New Zealand, and I believe it was formerly called Kiwi Composites. This stock is like new and has never been bedded or in the field. The gunsmith has applied some black "splatter paint" over the smooth carbon fiber for texture (you can still see the carbon fiber). I have not weighed the stock, but the website lists it at 1.3 pounds (20.8 ounces), with a variation of a few ounces depending on barrel inlet. These stock originally sold for $600. Comes with Limbsaver recoil pad installed.
