Rifle is a custom Mauser owned by my buddy. Olive wood stock. Darn thing was very heavy but that soaked up the recoil. Old Weaver 1.5-4.5 which was great. Hunted the thick stuff mostly on 2 power, but my shot was at 70 yards with it turned up.

Here's buffalo tenderloin on the grill. Cooked it whole for quite a while, then cut it into steaks and finished off. Tender was about 2 feet long! They were going to make a heckofalot of biltong.
